When asked why he didn’t join Zendaya for their premieres, he told the magazine: “Because it’s not my time, it’s your time, and if we go together, it’s about us.”
He also sweetly called her by a nickname, “Z,” when telling her a story about doing a backflip. “So I went out and I was getting ready and I thought, I can do this. I can totally do this. I’ve done this thousands of times. AND z I was there and she was like, ‘Are you sure you can still do this?'” He reassured her, leaned in and dove in. “I actually managed to land, but I pulled all my stomach muscles, because when you do a backflip, it’s about extending as far as you can and then bending. For weeks I couldn’t laugh because my stomach hurt so much.”
Another notable quote came with thomas talking about one day having children and retiring from acting. He shared, “When I have kids, they won’t see me in movies anymore. Golf and dad. And I will simply disappear from the face of the earth.” He apparently said this as a desire to have a more regular life once he has children.
