Jack Schlossberggrandson of the late president john kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassisfound himself at the center of controversy Monday after a series of peculiar tweets during President Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony.
The 32-year-old political correspondent took to X to post a question comparing Vice President JD Vance’s wife: Usha Vanceto his own grandmother, the iconic Jackie Kennedy.
“True or false: Usha Vance is much more attractive than Jackie O?” Schlossberg asked his followers, prompting an immediate reaction.
One user responded jokingly, suggesting that both women were “very crafty ladies.” Schlossberg responded, “I really appreciate this thank you, Sam,” but his follow-up tweet escalated the situation further.
“I called my hot grandma… have I completely lost myself?” Jesus…this kid would do anything to get attention. Your grandfather would be embarrassed. Oh really. Time to get a job,” Schlossberg wrote, referring to himself in the third person.
The tweets left many of Schlossberg’s followers worried. “I’ll be honest, I think most people don’t make attractiveness ratings that involve their grandmothers,” one user commented.
Another wrote: “It’s not too late to delete this,” while others scolded Schlossberg for his inappropriate comments. “Do you consider your grandmother a ‘hottie’?” one critic asked, while another accused him of being “desperate for a compromise.”
Several users urged the Harvard graduate to “seek help” and reconsider his approach to public speaking.
