Jewelery theft victims offered up to £1.5m in rewards

The victims of a £10 million jewelery raid at a London mansion have offered rewards totaling £1.5 million to help catch the thief and recover their stolen items.

The jewelery as well as £150,000 worth of designer bags and £5,000 cash were stolen from the house on exclusive Avenue Street, near Primrose Hill, on December 7.

Some of the jewelry is reported to belong to Shafira Huang.

In addition to a £500,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the thief, the owners are offering 10% of the value of any jewelery recovered for information leading to its recovery, which could add up to £1.5 million. confirmed the Metropolitan Police.

Among the items stolen, worth a total of £10.4 million, were distinctive pieces such as two butterfly-shaped diamond rings from De Beers, pink sapphire butterfly earrings from Katherine Wang and a gold Van Cleef necklace , diamonds and sapphires.

Many of the missing items are unique in their design and therefore easily identifiable, the Metropolitan Police said.

The Metropolitan Police believe the house was attacked between 17:00 and 17:30 GMT by a man who entered through a second floor window.

The suspect is described as white, between 20 and 30 years old, and was said to be wearing a dark hoodie, cargo pants and a gray baseball cap and keeping his face covered.

Avenue Street, where the raid took place, links the Swiss Cottage and Regent’s Park areas and has some of the most expensive properties in London.
