Ça sent the end for Aaron Rodgers

If this is the last game in Aaron Rodgers’ career in the NFL, the aura at least completes long journeys in beauty, I wasted a difficult season.

In a rare victory for the Jets, the veteran threw four touchdown passes and became the fifth quarterback in history to reach the milestone of 500 touchdown passes. As a last act, if this is really the case, it is difficult to destroy my situation!

Several hours before the meeting, NFL Community insider Ian Rapoport mentioned that “people close to him that I know well are preparing like it’s the end.”

Rapoport is credible and usually leaves nothing to chance. Expect Rodgers to ridicule him during his next visit to the Pat McAfee Showwhere he often repeats that not even the most connected informants have access to his bodyguards.

It is not true that Rodgers played his last game in his career against the Dolphins, but the signers can leave aside that his career is over.

This week he was particularly introspective during his press conference with the New York media. He took the time to thank everyone who influenced him, including his high school coach.

During his team’s final practice, he exchanged his jersey adorned with the number 8 for linebacker Quincy Williams’ 56.

Rodgers never changed his speech. He repeated again this week that he will make a decision on his future before the free agent market opens in March.

Bad closing note

If Rodgers really decides he’s had enough of football and retires for a while to stock up on Ayahuasca, good for him.

The fact is that you cannot retire by choice. Statistically, it wasn’t a bad game with 28 touches and 11 interceptions. However, in this situation he no longer seems like a quarterback whose influence remains decisive.

If his admirable determination to recover at the age of 41 from a delicate Achilles tendon rupture must be saluted, he is still not the same player since his return.

His mobility is definitely no longer the same and it is increasingly difficult for him to be under pressure. This time he missed his shot four times with the match in his hands in a final pose.

Rodgers had to reshape the Jets. However, they are worse than the short time, when he was injured after four small games.

Unless an unattended revision is made, the Jets do not have any more air and are distributed on new bases. What are the rest of the teams, if you want to play a different season? It is not true that this year’s delivery offer encourages confidence.

A magnificent transporter

However, we must be careful when some go so far as to say that his time with the Jets will have tarnished his legacy. It’s nonsense!

Everyone has the right to appreciate Rodgers or question his views. In recent years, he has often appeared arrogant and, on the field, his non-verbal language towards his teammates is not very inspiring.

At the end of the day, either way, Rodgers will have had a wonderful career. His detractors will say that such a talented quarterback should boast more than a Tremendous Bowl championship, but many other great quarterbacks have none.

Rodgers has the best touchdown-to-interception ratio of all time. We’re talking almost five to one, something never seen before!

Rodgers also has four MVP titles in one season and one Tremendous Bowl.

It would have been better, in the best of all worlds, for his career to end at the peak of his art in Green Bay, rather than in the monumental fiasco of this era in New York. Whether people like it or not, he still fully deserved the right to try to extend his career elsewhere.

This unfortunate mess with the Jets clearly does not define his career, which appropriately concludes in the Hall of Fame five years from now. If, of course, you find the wisdom to hang up your shoulder pads now instead of dragging out the sauce further.

5 CLÉS MOMENTS

1. Mike Evans meets with Jerry Rice

The Buccaneers secured a series lead at the Saints’ disposal when they stopped their final attempt with 36 seconds left. We will not repeat the ball and receiver Mike Evans will play it with a good gesture. This one was four yards shy of the 1,000-yard mark at the time and they opted for a pass to Evans, who gained nine yards to bring his total to 1,005. Crossing the 1,000-yard mark for the 11th consecutive year, here’s what Jerry Rice succeeded before him. His contract stipulated a bonus of 3 million if he reached that level and his teammates savored the second with him.

2. Bryce Younger takes over the Falcons

Aaron Rodgers is in his 20th NFL season.

Fourth-row Bryce Younger continues with another good performance against the Falcons.

The Buccaneers’ victory eliminated the Falcons’ charge for the South division title of the national conference and, furthermore, in a series game. The Falcons still battled to the end in an overtime loss against the Panthers, who finished the season with wins in three games. Once again, the play of young second-year quarterback Bryce Younger was very encouraging. Younger finished the game with 251 passing yards and three touchdown passes, plus two more rushing touchdowns.

3. From the first to the fourth option…

Aaron Rodgers is in his 20th NFL season.

The quarter-rounder recruits Joe Milton, chooses the latest impressions in six rounds, and the Patriots see a victory that will earn him the first pick in the next chain.

There are games in which there is not so much interest in winning. Take on the Payments reservists, the Patriots will take it. The tragedy is that they were in position to get the first pick in the following draft and their victory dropped them to fourth overall. The Titans will now speak first, followed by the Browns and Giants. The Patriots don’t make it past the fourth, but they can get immense value in trading this pick. This is the choice of six-year-old Joe Milton, whom he had as one of his best players, looking good with 241 yards, a touchdown pass and a rushing touchdown.

4. A cruel defeat

Aaron Rodgers is in his 20th NFL season.

Cairo Santos achieved the victory for the Bears against the Packers.

The Bears battled the Packers for a 12-game stay at a shared venue 51 miles from Cairo Santos. The loss hurts the Packers, who fall from sixth to seventh place in the national conference. This means that they will have to take the road to Philadelphia to face the powerful Eagles, who had beaten them on the road. Worse yet, the fourth quarter saw Jordan Love bend his elbow and leave the game. He will be in charge next week, his coach assured.

5. The Broncos in series

Aaron Rodgers is in his 20th NFL season.

Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix tore up the Chiefs defense with four touchdown passes.

As it turns out, the Broncos qualified for the 2015 tournament playoff series with a win against the Chiefs. Chiefs who, let us point out, were practically playing with their D team on the field. Several starters were out as the team had nothing to gain. Broncos quarterback Bo Nix failed to stop with four touchdown passes to bring his total to 29 in his first season. We especially remember his touchdown pass to Devaughn Vele. Crazy game!

THE WINNERS OF THE WEEK

1. The Chargers

The Chargers finished their time in style with a victory against the Raiders. Therefore, they finish in fifth place and will face the Texans in the first round of the playoffs next week. Quite a change of direction for this franchise!

2. Brock Bowers

The Raiders’ approach winger continued to rewrite history. His four receptions against the Chargers brought his total to 112 times. This is a document for a rookie catcher, after Puka Nacua’s mark of 109, who only lasted one year.

3. The Crows

The same evening, for a second year of suite, the Ravens became official champions of the northern division in the American conference. Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson are responsible for two chacun touches.

4. Jonathan Taylor

In the overtime win against the Jaguars, Colts goaltender Jonathan Taylor had another big game with 177 yards and a touchdown. The season ends with four straight 100+ yard games.

5. Marco Mariota

The backup player played the second half in place of Jayden Daniels, leading the Commanders to victory with two touchdown passes, including one to Terry McLaurin with three seconds left against the Cowboys. You can’t ask for more from a reservist.

LOSERS OF THE WEEK

1. Jerod Mayo

Shortly after the Patriots’ victory, owner Robert Kraft announced that manager Jerod Mayo had been forfeited. He only lasted one season at the helm. Is Mike Vrabel, the one who already knew the Jets, in his sights?

2.Carson Wentz

Let’s be honest, Wentz was not in a position to succeed for this last game against the Broncos. The Chiefs didn’t draft any key players to help him, but our backup quarterbacks did much better than him.

3. The Steelers

The Steelers are a series, but they come on the scene after four consecutive defeats with those who have not scored more than 17 points. The attacks for the team to have a big contract with Russell Wilson are coming very discreetly.

4. Dolphins

As usual, the Dolphins froze their fingers on a cold day in New York. They had to win and hope for a Broncos loss to qualify for the series. It wasn’t even close…

5. The Bengalis

The start of this season is surviving very late and missing the victory against the Steelers to close the schedule, the Bengals are excluded from the series. He already has a great defensive job to stop Joe Burrow from gaspling one more year.
