Samsung has revealed its 2025 TV lineup and while we don’t have the exact specs yet, there are some intriguing new additions, including a surprising, oversized new offering.
Plus: I saw Samsung’s 8K TV at CES 2025, and these 3 new features stole the show
The spectacular glare-free technology of last year’s S95D is coming to two new devices, the One Join Wi-fi box is expanding to more models, and the company’s largest ever consumer display makes its debut. It’s CES in Las Vegas, so you can bet it’s huge. Here’s our first look at Samsung’s 2025 TV lineup.
1. Samsung Neo QLED 8K TVs
The company’s 8K QLEDs are the star of the show, and in 2025, two new models, the QN990F and QN900F, will join the lineup. One thing that is immediately obvious from the press release is that the company is bringing its anti-glare technology, which was previously found in the S95D, to these two devices. This technology does a pretty impressive job of reducing reflections, making it especially useful in brightly lit rooms.
ZDNET’s Kerry Wan took a close look at the new models ahead of the CES announcement and found that they showed surprisingly great contrast and brightness, even with the frosted matte treatment.
Plus: Samsung just introduced a sleek new OLED smart monitor (and it’s not just for gamers)
If you’re worried about clutter, the QN990F specifically gets One Join Field Wi-fi, which lets you connect your HDMI connections to a streaming box instead of the TV and streams your content (even 8K) wirelessly at 120Hz at your TV, even if it is not in direct line of sight.
The QN990F and QN900F also have access to Samsung Artwork Retailer, which allows you to access more than 3,000 works of art from museums around the world to use as a screen saver.
We don’t have exact pricing specs yet, but the press release calls both sets “ultra-premium.” For reference, the 2024 models ranged from $3,500 to $8,000.
2. Samsung Neo QLED 4K TV expands to 115 inches
Samsung’s Neo QLED 4K lineup includes three models this year, the QN90F, QN80F, and QN70F. The best of the bunch, the QN90F features impressive anti-glare technology along with the NQ4 AI Gen3 processor, a 165Hz refresh rate, and a 115-inch option, Samsung’s largest consumer display.
Those specs alone make the 4K model a top contender for gamers who want a high-quality display but don’t want to shell out for 8K gear. The lower-tier QN80F comes complete with a still-impressive 100-inch option.
3. Samsung OLED TVs with improved glare-free displays
Three new models make up Samsung’s OLED family this year, the S95F, S90F and S85F. The S95F is the flagship of the group, and Samsung says this year’s version is brighter than ever (the world’s brightest, at least according to the press release), has an improved AI processor, a refresh rate of 165 Hz and comes with improved brightness. free technology.
These models, like the others on this list, will feature the company’s latest Imaginative and prescient AI tools, including Click on to Search for more context of what’s on the screen, AI-generated transcripts, and more.
4. Samsung Life-style TVs include a ‘Professional’ Body
Samsung’s “Lifestyle” category is the strongest, consisting of The Body, The Body Professional, The Terrace, The Premiere, The Freestyle 2nd Gen and others. The Body Professional adds a Neo QLED display, a first for the model, which boosts better levels of brightness and contrast, and adds Wi-fi One Join Field, making a true “work of art” seem easier to achieve.

It’s worth noting that Samsung recommends having a Wi-Fi 7 connection to get the most out of Wi-fi One Join Field, but the transmitter will work well with more common Wi-Fi standards such as 5 and 6. Full specifications, including price, for All of the TVs mentioned above will be announced later.
