Months ago, the CBS ’60 minutes’ program sat down for an interview with the then presidential candidate Kamala Harris. It did not do well, because other than softball interviews were not his forty (and even the softball interviews often went sideways). ’60 minutes’ blatantly edited one of Kamala’s responses in Israel to help her look better.
It was a violation of journalistic ethics, but it is not surprising. There is no ethical standard, no principle, no code with which the media do not eliminate if they believe it will help them damage Donald Trump.
Social networks exploded and many demanded ’60 minutes’ launched the interview’s transcripts, which they refused to do.
In December, Trump said he was presenting a lawsuit against ’60 minutes’ for the electoral interference related to the edited interview and then filed a demand of $ 10 billion.
Now the program is coughing the transcripts and giving them to the FCC:
