What time is the men’s last person at the Australian Open?

Defending champion and world number one Jannik Sinner faces Germany’s world number two Alexander Zverev in the men’s final at the Australian Open 2025.

Sinner is trying to win his third Grand Slam, after the Australian Open and the 2024 US Open.

Zverev seeks his first victory in a Grand Slam. He has been runner-up at the 2020 US Open and the 2024 French Open.

Here is when players are expected to be on the court for the men’s final:

  • 7:30 pm AEDT: New South Wales, Vic, Tas, ACT
  • 6:30 pm Aest: Queensland
  • 7:00 pm ACDT: South Australia
  • 6:00 pm ACST: Northern Territory
  • 4:30 pm AWST: Western Australia

He has won the first of the two trophies that will be decided on the last day of the Australian Open.

Top-seeded women’s doubles Katerina Siniakova and Taylor Townsend defeated the third-seeded team of Su-Wei Hsieh and Jelena Ostapenko, 6-2, 6(4)-7, 6-3.

Siniakova/Townsend had the opportunity to serve for the match in the second set, leading 5-4. But Hsieh/Ostapenko never gave them a chance to earn a match point, winning the game and ultimately the tiebreaker of that set.

But the top seeds regrouped to claim the third set and the Grand Slam crown.

Madison Keys has caused a major upset in the women’s final at the Australian Open, defeating current two-time champion Aryna Sabalenka in a modern classic.

Keys handed the Belarusian her first defeat in the Rod Laver Environment since 2021, achieving an epic three units 6-3, 2-6, 7-5 in two hours and two minutes. The Australian Open is the first Grand Slam title of the American’s career.

Sabalenka was left distraught after match point, smashing her racquet in a fit of rage on court before breaking down in tears while covering her head with a towel as Keys celebrated with her team just meters away.

There is one more match left in this year’s Australian Open.

The last male person between Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev.

Sinner, world number one and defending champion, is seeking his third Grand Slam championship, having won the Australian Open and the US Open in 2024.

Second seed Zverev is chasing his first Grand Slam title in his third final. Previously, Zverev has been runner-up at the US Open (2020) and the French Open (2024).
