Sam Heughan is opening up about their differences while filming his two TV shows.
The 44-year-old actor is perhaps best known for starring in the starz series strangerwhich is a period piece, and now he stars in the new contemporary thriller series, The couple next doorwhich is also broadcast on the same network.
In a recent interview, Sam compared what it’s like to film two very different shows and talked about the differences between them.

“It was just a pleasure to do something completely different,” he said. Entertainment Weekly. “I spent less time in the makeup chair, and putting on a T-shirt and denim is much more comfortable than the traditional kilt or doublet I normally wear. “Each has its merits, of course, and it’s fun to do something historic, but this was definitely a welcome change.”
While the seventh season of stranger just finished, Sam It’s not leaving the television screens like The couple next door just debuted and you can catch new episodes on Fridays at 9pm ET/PT on Starz in the US and Canada.
