Kevin Powellan acclaimed writer and activist, is putting Snoop Dogg in explosion for acting for donald trump before the inauguration… accusing the rap legend of selling out.
We caught up with Kevin on “TMZ Stay” on Monday, where he shared his candid opinion on Snoop’s decision to perform at Trump’s pre-inauguration ball over the weekend… criticizing SD and saying the performance is a proof of the “lack” of the A-lister. of values.”
Kevin points out that Snoop wasn’t always like this, noting that the rap mogul has a long history of being there for his community. However, KP says that Snoop’s decision to perform for trump talked a lot…alleging that the “Drop It Like It is Sizzling” rapper abandoned his audience “for a bag of money.”
Like Snoop, he feels that Carrie and other artists who attended the POTUS inaugural celebrations exchanged their beliefs and “slept” with someone who has sexist, homophobic, racist, transphobic and xenophobic values.
And he adds… “It’s telling me that you don’t really care about the people who have supported you all these years, including people who may be black or queer, etc. The only thing you care about is your own career, your own career.” access and, again, that bag of money.”
As Kevin sees it… it’s a “stab in the back” to the fans who have supported their music and careers. Last week, Yvette Nicole Brown I had a similar feeling a “TMZ live.”
