There is no debate in Ed Reedthe mind… Lamar Jackson – NO Jose Alen —He is the MVP of the NFL!!!
The Baltimore Ravens legend made it very clear sports this week he thinks Jackson should get the nod over Allen…and it sounds like he doesn’t think it’s particularly close.
“Josh had a great year, for sure,” Reed said. “But he hasn’t had Lamar’s year. “He’s had an MVP year, but he hasn’t had Lamar’s year.”
Reed compared all of this to a dash… and told us that he believes Lamar has been well ahead in the race over the past few weeks.
“The only thing (Allen) brings to the table is if someone trips Lamar,” Reed said. “And no one has tripped up Lamar.”
The two quarterbacks will have a chance to show who truly deserves the NFL’s highest honor on Sunday… when the Ravens visit Buffalo for a big Divisional Round playoff showdown.
Baltimore is currently a one-point favorite… but Reed knows it can go either way, calling it “a Tremendous Bowl in itself.”
Reed won’t be able to attend the game (he said he has some responsibilities to attend to), but he’ll certainly watch from home…maybe even with his new DirecTV MySports Package!
