Throughout SurvivorThroughout nearly 50 seasons, many contestants have remained fan favorites and continued to appear on numerous seasons of the reality competition series. (And those shows can be American or international entries in the franchise.) Some of them have even competed in other current affairs exhibits, as is the case of Parvati Shallow, who will compete in the upcoming second season of Island of agreement or no agreement during the 2025 TV lineup. Now, a contestant is revealing what it’s like to meet her on the game show.
Shallow is definitely no stranger to current affairs, as the 42-year-old has appeared on four seasons of Survivor, winning season 16. He will also appear in the Australia for the new subtitled season Australia against the world with some of his shipwrecked companions. He also appeared in the second season of The traitors (which can be viewed with a Peacock subscription) and now has its sights set on Island of agreement or no agreement.
Also franchise champion David Genat, who won the All-Stars season of Australia, is also competing Island of agreement or no agreement. He’s one of many who will compete on the game show’s next season, and though Parvati Shallow certainly isn’t the only actuality star he’ll face off against, Genat said. Entertainment Weekly how excited he was when he found out he was competing with Shallow:
Being a fan of someone for a long time and coincidentally competing against them on a show is certainly like destiny. Especially since any of them could have ended in any season of islanddepending on how long the show lasts. Genat is not only a fan of hers, but he certainly knows how competitive she is and how good she can play. Despite that, it seems like he was very excited to compete in the same season as her, and it will be fun to see how he does.
Island of agreement or no agreement it’s not Survivor 2.0But that doesn’t seem to stop former contestants from this latest franchise from wanting to try their hand at the classic game show with a twist. Fan-favorite sidekick Rob Mariano was cast for the first season and was eliminated right before the finale. With a new group competing in season 2 that once again includes some Survivor veterinarians and other reality favorites, viewers could enjoy an exciting series of episodes. And you better believe I’m excited to see Parvati Shallow and David Genat go head to head.
Luckily, followers won’t have to wait long to see them on their screens. Island of agreement or no agreement Season 2 will premiere Tuesday, January 7 on NBC and the outcome could definitely go either way. Fans won’t want to miss what happens and I can’t wait for it to air.
