American Indian Dhol Band to Participate in Trump Inauguration Parade

WASHINGTON: UN American Indian dhol band has been invited to participate in the parade from the Capitol to the White House following the inauguration of Donald Trump as the 47th president of the United States on January 20. Shivam Dhol Tasha PathakA traditional Indian drum and snare ensemble based in Texas, will bring their vibrant and energetic rhythms to the heart of Washington, DC, offering the world a glimpse into the rich musical traditions of India during the event that will be seen by millions of people in everyone, a press release said Monday.
This milestone is not only a triumph for the whole but also a defining moment for the Indian community in Texas, throughout the United States and the world. It is the first time that a dynamic and energetic traditional Texas Indian drum ensemble will perform on such a grand stage, according to the press release.
