The Dallas Cowboys have to be happy their season is over… but there was one more embarrassing moment their team had to endure: because their kicker crashed a ball and hit one of their cheerleaders in the head.
During the second quarter kickoff, Brandon Aubrey —Dallas’ usually safe kicker—kicked a ball that went out of bounds… and it was already a penalty, which was bad enough.
But it gets worse… because the ball went out of bounds and found the back of a cheerleader’s head. She falls to the ground, knocked down by the force of the ball, and people rush to see her.
The broadcast also slowed down the footage… and it appears that a cameraman on the sideline actually put a hand on the ball, it’s unclear if he accidentally deflected the ball toward the cheerleader’s head or if he would have hit her anyway.
Fortunately, it seems she recovered well from the blow…smiling, laughing, and waving help from the concerned parties around her.
It’s another mistake in a season full of mistakes for the Cowboys…who finished the season 7-10 after losing today’s game 23-19 to the Washington Commanders.
Dallas is missing the playoffs for the first time since the 2020-2021 season when they finished 6-10. quarterback Dak Prescott I couldn’t even maintain a positive attitude throughout the year… caught on live television in November saying, “We suck.”
Well, at least this season is in the rearview…although one cheerleader may feel a little beat up about tomorrow’s year!
