A man has been arrested in connection with an alleged hit-and-run which left a woman dead in Paisley on Hogmanay.
Elizabeth Kennedy, 70, was pronounced dead at the scene on the town’s Barrhead Road, near the junction with Ladykirk Crescent, at around 7pm on December 31.
The driver of the white vehicle that was allegedly involved in the incident subsequently fled the area.
An 18-year-old man has been arrested for the incident.
He has been released pending further investigations.
