Samsung will almost certainly reveal its Galaxy S25 line in less than a month. While the company’s latest phone will reportedly bring a new design, an improved camera, and more, it could also bring a surprise benefit: a free subscription to Gemini Superior.

While running an APK teardown of the latest version of the Google app, a process that involves digging into the code to predict upcoming features, Android Authority I noticed several hints that the Galaxy S25 could include a free subscription to the paid version of Google AI.

“Your device gives you access to a {one} year subscription to Gemini Superior,” the code said, “with access to our most capable AI models, at no cost.” There were also lines of code for nine-, six-, and three-month subscriptions. At least for the one-year trial, that’s a value of over $200.

Several other mentions of “Samsung” or “Samsung S25” appear throughout the app, linking this offer directly to Samsung’s upcoming release. It seems possible that the different levels are linked to different phone models.

Previously, Google made an offer available to customers who purchased a Pixel 9.

If you’re not familiar, Gemini Superior is a paid upgrade to Gemini, Google’s AI. The service, which typically costs $20 a month, gives you access to a much more powerful version of AI that can generate images, understand more complex questions, give better answers, let you create personalized AI experts, and give you test previews. While the Gemini Superior is currently only available with a Google One subscription, which also includes 2TB of cloud storage, advanced Google Photographs editing features, a multi-device VPN, and more, there’s no indication that the Gemini Superior offering Samsung includes Google One.

We’ll probably learn more when Galaxy Unpacked drops on January 22nd.
